For some it is an opportunity to strengthen faith, for others it is an opportunity to learn more about religious traditions and architecture.

Millions of people go on pilgrimages or cultural and religious tours every year to touch the shrines and learn more about the world religions.
There are currently 70 active religious buildings in Minsk, of which: 45 are Orthodox religious buildings, 12 are Roman Catholic religious buildings, 3 are Evangelical Baptist religious buildings, 5 are Evangelical Christian religious buildings, 1 is a religious building of Seventh–day Adventist Christians, 2 are religious buildings of the Jewish religion, 1 – cult building of the New Apostolic Church, 1 – cult building of the Muslim religion.
