The Karetnaya exposition, together with the Verkhny Gorod Archaeological Museum and the Minskaya Konka Museum, is part of the museum complex on the territory of the former Bernardinsky monastery.
In addition to the opportunity to see authentic museum objects, visitors will plunge into the world of sounds of Minsk street at the end of the 19th century, will be able to look into the "window of time" and be transported to the old town.
The exhibition "Karetnaya" is dedicated to the history of horse-drawn transport of Minsk residents of the provincial period. The authentic main types and types of vehicles of Minsk residents, as well as horse harnesses, are on display.
There are three main types of horse-drawn transport: carriage (a light carriage of the phaeton type, a 4-person folding carriage), cart (a drobyak cart, a chaise) and a skidway (sledges, carts)
