Republican reserve "Lebyazhy"

The Republican reserve "Lebyazhy" is located within the borders of Minsk and is surrounded by residential and communal areas. It was established in 1984, but the boundaries of the reserve have changed several times. Currently, its area is 43 hectares. Pobediteley Avenue adjoins the border of the reserve from the north-west, Olympic Park residential complex from the southwest, and Zhdanovichi universal market from the southeast. This corner of untouched nature is a calling card for the guests of the capital, who enter it from the western side. The territory of the natural and anthropogenic complex, located within the borders of the city of Minsk, plays an important role in the environmental education of Minsk residents. Guided tours for students have been organized in this small area, and landscaping elements have been installed to observe the life of birds.
