The Pischalovsky Castle ("Belarusian Bastille") is a historical building in the center of Minsk. It was built in 1825 in the early Gothic style by the architect Kazimir Hrshchanovich. It has been used as a prison (SIZO-1) for almost two centuries, and is now undergoing a large-scale reconstruction to turn into a public space
