Today, the National Library of Belarus is the largest information and socio-cultural center in the country. The library actively generates its own and acquires electronic information resources from the world's largest manufacturers, provides free access to national and global information resources, and has the most comprehensive collection of national and foreign documents in the republic. The funds contain the most representative collection of materials from the United Nations, UNESCO, the World Bank, and the IAEA in the republic. The National Library receives and stores documents from the European Union, the Council of Europe, the OSCE and other international organizations.
