Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross

The temple stands on the site of the former Stalag 352 prisoner of war camp (1941-1944), in which more than 80,000 people died who did not bow their heads to the Nazi invaders. There is a memorial and mass graves near the temple grounds. The Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross is designed for 500 parishioners with a lower church for 100 people and a small baptistery in the basement. Nearby there is a church building with a school and a museum, an entrance group with a bell tower.
