Minsk Sports Palace is a multifunctional sports and concert complex in the city center on Pobediteley Avenue, built in 1963-1966. In 1984, the Sports Palace was recognized as an architectural monument. Later (1999), a closed ice rink was built behind it. The Palace hosts various sports competitions in 22 sports, as well as solemn meetings, concerts and exhibitions. The multi–purpose sports and entertainment facility, equipped with modern technology and equipment after reconstruction (2001 - 2004), currently accommodates 3.3 thousand spectators in the sports version and 5 thousand in the concert version.
