The Medvezhino Forest Park, located in the densely populated Frunzensky district of Minsk, has become one of the most popular green areas for citizens. Since the large-scale landscaping a few years ago, the park has changed beyond recognition, becoming a convenient and beautiful place for recreation and active activities. The Medvezhino Forest Park is named after a nearby village. In fact, it is practically an established forest. Now there are neat paths between the dense array of trees, benches, trash cans are everywhere, and there are plenty of street lights. A large playground with horizontal bars, swings, a sandbox and other entertainment was installed in a picturesque clearing. The well-maintained territory has become a place of attraction for schoolchildren on summer holidays, mothers with strollers, couples in love, and fans of outdoor walks. Even on weekdays, the alleys of Medvezhino are crowded. In winter, the Medvezhino Forest Park turns into a popular destination for winter sports enthusiasts, especially those who are keen on skiing. In the cold season, it provides for the creation of a ski trail, which provides convenient conditions for outdoor activities.

Park of the 60th Anniversary of the Great October

The park named after the 60th anniversary of the Great October is located between Matusevich, Zhudro, Olshevsky and D. Serdich streets. The park was created simultaneously with the construction of the neighborhood in the 1970s, so its name is associated with 1977, when the 60th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution was celebrated in the USSR.
